Tympani crew’s third night

Greetings from the Speedway. It’s dusk on night 3 of EDC, and the crowd is beginning to reach its familiar density. This is the last chance for party-goers to bleed off any frantic, dancing energy they may have left. As for us, our challenge is to shoot off all our propane with energy to spare, so we can start dismantling Tympani into the morning sunlight hours.

But that will be a small eternity from now… for the moment, it’s all about heavy downbeats, confetti canons, happy dancing crowds, fireworks, crazy party costumes, and carnival rides spinning out into the night sky.

Periodically, huge confetti cannons blast fluttery paper bits at the crowd. We wish it was made of flash paper, but alas it’s made of fire retardant. Too bad, it would look amazing burning up in our arches.

This event prides itself on partying hard all night long… well, Happy Summer Solstice, everyone.
